About Me
                                           A Short Biography

I was born in Be'er Ya'akov, Israel in 1986 and I currently reside in Kiryat Shmona. My interest in fine art began from an early age. Most of my work includes drawings and paintings using pencil, charcoal, oil and acrylic. I am particularly drawn to themes that involve beauty and love as I am fascinated by the qualities of
symmetry and emotion; for this reason, my drawings involve precise articles and people whom I find photogenic and emotional.

Due to my curious nature, I love to explore my artistic abilities and enjoy learning from         various professionals. One of my favourite artists with whom I've had the honour to work was Amir Nir (Kibbutz Hagoshrim, Israel), from whom I've learned many techniques of drawing and painting. Other than art, my lifetime work has embraced science, music, and volunteering in communities.

I graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Arts & Science in 2009, where I majored in Biology and minored in Physiology and Botany. Throughout my university experience I gained in-depth understanding of the physiology and evolution of plants and animals. In 2014 During my three years of studies in Art Therapy at the Academic College of Tel-Hai, I gained in-depth understanding of the importance of art in affecting and expressing emotional experiences, and of its therapeutic ability in dealing with various pscychololgical conditions and psychosomatic symptoms. My studies, along with my internship and work with children in elementary schools, as well as my previous volunteer work at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), have greatly contributed to the development of my artistic abilities over the years and encouraged me to demonstrate them.
